History
The Southeast Minnesota Bluegrass Association (SEMBA) was organized in September 1998 as a result of individuals identifying a desire to promote traditional country and bluegrass music in the area. Howard and Marjorie Otis, promoters of the Money Creek Haven Bluegrass Festival near Houston, Minnesota for six years, aligned themselves with this effort. Articles of Incorporation and bylaws were recorded with the state and non-profit status was approved in March of 1999. The goals of SEMBA include:

Non-Profit Contributions
SEMBA is a Minnesota non-profit organization and contributions are deductible for income tax purposes. SEMBA is committed to excellence and our goal is to provide the best traditional country and bluegrass music in the area. Contributions may be sent to P.O. Box 93, Rushford, MN 55971 and should be made payable to SEMBA.
